New version of e-BusinessVision is right-priced, robust, securely-hosted e-commerce for small and medium-sized businesses

Washington, D.C. - May 6, 2002 - BusinessVision, a subsidiary of Softline Software, today announced the immediate availability of a significantly enhanced version of e-BusinessVision, a complete e-business solution that enables customers to establish and integrate an e-commerce presence directly with BusinessVision 32 business management software.

The announcement comes on the first day of the annual AICPA Tech 2002 Conference, the premier technology showcase event geared specifically for the CPA community.

Enhancements to the new version of e-BusinessVision, many of which are found in enterprise-level and significantly higher-priced solutions, include: streamlined shopping and checkout interface; variable display of product groups; novice-oriented HTML builder; "mass mail" customer marketing tool; suggested sales option; automatic display of new and last sold products, and much more.

"We have carefully developed and priced e-BusinessVision according to a 'real world' profile of the small to mid-size customer,"said Murray Aston, president of BusinessVision. "This customer is asking for a complete, robust, securely-hosted Internet marketplace solution that allows them to immediately begin competing in their industry, without the necessity of dealing with technology infrastructure and maintenance issues."

BusinessVision's pricing structure for the new version of e-BusinessVision - $89.95 per month, with an initial, one-time sign up fee of $399 - challenges mid-market competitors to demonstrate value of products and services to customers who are paying significantly more for a "hit the bricks running" e-business solution.

"Our pricing model for e-BusinessVision is fair and reasonable for small to mid-sized customers," added Aston. "Over the past 15 years, we have built a tremendous base of customer loyalty by offering a very robust business management system in BusinessVision 32, at a reasonable price. This is what the mid-market is asking for. We predict that e-BusinessVision will similarly achieve great success under the same 'robust, reasonably priced' model."

"The opportunity to provide our clients with a robust, right-priced, 'need it now' e-business solution has presented itself in the form of e-BusinessVision," said Peter Frank, CPA, CITP, technology partner at CGSolutions, Inc. a leading New York City technology consulting firm associated with the CPA firm of Cornick Garber & Sandler, LLP. "For those clients requiring mission-critical, seamlessly integrated e-business systems that inhale and exhale in the same environment as the back-end business management software system, we're pleased to offer e-BusinessVision," added Sid Edelstein, Director of Information Technology at CGSolutions, Inc.
